"Rays" is one of my favourite shots with my compact. But i don't remember wot preset WB and EV i used, EXIF says lens aperture at F2.9, shutter speed at 1/84 sec, focal length 6mm, exposure compensation +0.3 step.

i'm never confident with my night shots, cuz i never had any support until lately i finally indulged myself with a Manfrotto digi series tripod. Still, i'm not good, can't get right exposure, the shutter speed and aperture all the time.

Nice shot, nice composition. I like this ..... the flare killed the contrast though. You can experiment using hood to minimize lack of contrast.

Thanks for the tip, mate. Will bear that in mind, and will certainly put it in use when i have a hood :p That's right, i don't have the basic tool ;) Anyway, that was taken with my old li'l compact. Once again, thank you!
