A range of total-photography-idiot-level (original, non-edited, unless stated otherwise) attempts of architecture. (Location info available in pix descriptions)
Thank you very much! That's very sweet of you! It's my pleasure for sharing, as there are very few friends of mine are into photography, and most of 'em are not here with me. :)
i gotta admit that i can't shoot buildings well, and most of the time it's always some li'l part or view of the interior/exterior that interest me. So strictly speaking, this album is not an architectural one, i just didn't know which category they should go! :p
Hahaha... really should boost up the colour and contrast eh? But i was refering the contrast of 'new & old' sort of contrast, not the pix sort of contrast, bro ;) It's been a while, the pix, taken with the good o' li'l A303 ;)
Your architecture series is fabulous. You call them as well as those in the other categories "attempts". Why attempts ? Why is art a tentative expression ? Reality is unreal . I was thinking architecture could look at reality upside down; tearing down the facade of symmetry and unity of statement .Even a downright uglification would expand consciousness; for instance a ruined building could open up delicious possibilities of spacial and temporal existence.
"The old and the new " is very appealing not because of the colour contrast but merely because it debunks normal human perceptions of symmetry and coherence. Both the doors are uneasily divergent in their textures and composition as part of the total picture. Additionally there is a delicious possibility of their having gone through varying levels of existence and evolution in time . Thank you for the comments on my photos.I am not a techie lensman, a mere hobbyist with a keenly developed beauty-sense.
